Spring Little League

Regular Registration Dates: January 15 – February 15

Late Registration Dates:  February 16 – 29 (but leagues close when they are full)

Season Dates:  March – June

Eligible Players:  Boys (or girls) ages 5 – 16.

Eligible Addresses:  Players must reside in the following:

Uwchlan, West Pikeland Townships or parts of northern East Caln Township

or attend a school within that area

Fields and Facilities:  Lionville Park, Shamona Peck, Acker, Williamsburg, DEHS

Required Equipment:  Supplied by player:  Glove, cleats, baseball pants

Supplied by LYA:  Uniform (shirt, socks, hat) bats, balls

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Please pay close attention to the birthdates for each age grouping as Little League International has changed the ages starting in the 2016 season for league ages 5-11.

We will continue to offer an Intermediate program for players ages 11, 12 or 13 looking for a program between Majors and Big League.  We will register players ages 13-16 and place them in the best possible program based on registration numbers, skill level and availability.

Playing beyond Majors – Ages- 13-16

For the 2017 spring baseball season, Lionville Little League will play other teams in District 28 that are League Age 13, 14, 15 and 16.  These players must be born between May 1, 2000 and April 30, 2004.

Lionvillle Little League will align our programs with age and skill levels of our surrounding Little Leagues.  We can have any combination of the following programs:

Intermediate- League age 11,12 or 13 are eligible (50/70 program)
Juniors – League age 13 and 14
JV – League age 13, 14 and 15
Seniors – League age 15 and 16

Please note that as of January 1, 2018, the new USA Baseball Bat Standard will be implemented. Little League-approved baseball bats that are approved for use for the 2017 season will no longer be acceptable for use in any Little League game or activity starting on January 1, 2018.  Please see following link for more information:
