Lionville Youth Association is proud to announce the introduction of a Summer Track & Field Program. This will be open to boys and girls aged 9 - 18, and is to be a fun, inexpensive introduction to Track & Field, as well as pre-season training for Cross Country and Soccer for more experienced athletes.
Athletes will train and compete in age and skill-appropriate groups. Workouts will vary during the season, and include:
- Track Workouts
- Hill Workouts
- Distance Runs
- Long Jump
- Shot Put
The program will be held at the Downingtown East High School Track during July and August, and include two practices a week (in the evenings), along with two Saturday morning track meets.
